A person’s identity is a collection of interactions with other people and how they affect the person. An extremely important factor in developing a strong self-identity is the family environment in which individuals grow up. While a number of factors help shape who we are, our family relationships are at the core of our identities. Who we are and what believe is largely a reflection of what we learned from our family. Our parents and family experiences guide and mold our values and characteristics. Without our family background, who would we really be? ...
