When I first walked through the front doors of St. John’s Prep School, I smiled, for I knew I had found a special place. Small in size, and full of smiling people, I was immediately comfortable with students and faculty alike. I soon learned the classes were small and the teachers very helpful. I also learned of the many opportunities for activities outside the classroom. From theater to speech to music, I have discovered much about myself in the past few years. ... I found the classes challenging and the assignments even harder. ... However, at the end of the first semester I found myself leaving behind everything I knew and loved, and flying to London for six of the most wonderful months of my life.
