Reality a Matter of Perception

Many scientists, and also common people, have tried to find out what reality is. ... In any common dictionary we can find the word “reality” explained as “the quality of being real”, or “one’s true personal situation”, or “the real world contrasted with one’s ideals and illusions”, or “a thing that is experienced or seen”. These definitions don’t help us at all understand reality, because I think they diminish the true value of reality, the possibilities they offer us are very few, or, better said, we can call reality everything we perceive as existing, and that’s very little knowledge compared to the infinity that surrounds us (time, space).
