Term Project Quick PC Rebooting University of Houston researchers have found a way to speed up startups in computers. New nonvolatile “thin film memory” made from a material called perovskite. It enables users to skip the booting process and go directly to where the users left off. Researchers say that bootless PCs could be on the shelves within a few years.
