Energy Can Be Transformed
The study of how energy is transformed is Thermodynamics.
The first law of Thermodynamics states:
-Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only converted
from one form to another. ... ( for example-organisms, the planet, and the universe are systems)
Closed system-A system (like the universe) into which no
energy or matter can enter from the outside
Open system-A system (like Earth) that exchanges matter and
energy with its surroundings
The first law is also stated by saying that the total amount of energy in a closed system remains constant.
