Deviant Acts
For my deviant act, I chose to explore the reactions of people when they were presented with “in bathroom conversations”. ... My deviant act came to me in the most unusual and unexpected place; on the pot! ... Through my findings, it is apparent that the truly deviant act was committed in the men’s bathroom. ... I think that by doing this one assignment it made me think about all of the things that I view as deviant, and why, including the bathroom experience, though I have studied and analyzed it, I am not sure if would be able to have a conversation with the person next to me in the bathroom.
