During my second year of training I gained my first experience of team midwifery. ... The first scenario discussed was management of self in this section it was shown how important effective communication is especially when dealing with the bereaved, at the same time the importance of effective communication among staff was also highlighted. Secondly time management was covered and this made apparent the importance of being able to effectively manage my time and prioritise my duties.
