“The Fellowship of the Ring Lives up to the Novel”
To change a novel as timeless as the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, the first in a trilogy written by J. ...
The first installment in the trilogy begins with the forging of “the great rings,” and their dispersion to the leaders of Middle Earth. Three rings are given to the Elves, seven for the Dwarves, and nine for the race of Man. One all powerful ring is secretly forged by the dark lord Sarron, making him eternal, and enslaving all other ring holders are to him. ... The battle concludes with the perceived death of the dark lord Sarron, although his soul lives with his ring. ... All in all I would wholeheartedly recommend this to any fan of fantasy films, and all fans of The Lord of the Rings novels.
