Fast Times on Tiffin Avenue As I sat and observed lunch hour traffic on Tiffin Avenue, I wondered to myself what all the rush is for, and where all these people are coming from! I always considered Findlay to be a small town, but one would never know that by watching the traffic. I sat for an hour and watched heavy traffic in all directions. Soccer moms in their vans never seem to slow down for anything. Business men in their suits talk on their cell phones while driving at a high rate of speed. Semi trucks drive along like they own the road. I could hear the sounds of brakes squealing as impatient drivers screech to a stop. In the distance, I could hear the guys at Oiler’s Lube shouting to each other from the pits in very husky, deep voices. People drive into McDonald’s car after car, like they are going to their last meal.
