Why Men Cheat?

1984 is a complex novel that portrays how it is possible to control, or more appropriately delude, the masses. Orwell’s depiction of how people can be brainwashed into believing whatever is told to them without dispute is nothing less than brilliant. Although Orwell’s timing was a bit off , eerily his predictions are coming to fruition. He prophecized cameras in every room of every household, building, an even on the streets. While he was a bit off cameras are extremely popular in buildings especially those who hold products/goods for sale. There is even talk of cameras in homes of those on house arrest. A television show named Big Brother, where house mates compete with one another to win the house while under constant scrutiny from cameras. The Junior Spies where attendance is mandatory for children and truancy can lead to death, is similar , albeit not as harshly consequential, can easily be contorted into public schooling. Psychological manipulation, physical control, and control of information and history are all themes comprised to assemble 1984.
