BAROQUE – Voila
One stressful morning turns into a time of discovery. After contentedly pursuing writer’s cramp on the day of our exam, it was soothing to take a break and experience art from my favorite period of time. It was really cool to see the art and compare it to paintings that I have at home hanging on my walls. While the paintings on my walls and those on the walls at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts come from very differently periods of time, it was interesting to compare the styles and note that, although the periods of time were so far from each other, there are still artists who create with the Baroque style. ... As noted by the title, you can see that the work of art was a painting of St. ... The style of this art remains as reserved as Dutch people and families were expected to be.
