Introducing school uniforms to public schools would benefit the educational system by promoting equality among students. Parochial and private schools have a long history of using school uniforms to project an atmosphere of uniformity, pride, loyalty, and equality among the student population. Studies show that by enforcing the wear of uniforms it would show a decrease in prejudice, improve safety, raise self-esteem and promote overall success.
