Cohabitation on Campus
¢ñ. ... In recent years, the item ¡°cohabitation¡± has come to our life soundlessly and gradually. Cohabitation, which is no longer new to us, has become one of the hottest topics among students on campus. What do they think of cohabitation? In order to explore their emotional world and their attitudes towards cohabitation, on April 18,2003, our group conducted a survey in the form of questionnaire (appendix enclosed) concerning cohabitation in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), among 108 freshmen and juniors of the Faculty of English Language and Culture and the School of Legal Studies. According to the survey, we find that age, sex and region have much to do with their attitudes towards cohabitation, therefore, we divide the results of our survey into the following three aspects to find out the similarities and differences of different groups. ... No matter it is for or against cohabitation, and no matter it is grade1 or grade3, when asked their responses of getting to know that their friends are in cohabitation, 100% students think that ¡°it is very common¡±, which can be interpreted into ¡°Being for cohabiting, I am not against others¡¯ cohabiting; being against cohabiting, I am not against others¡¯ cohabiting¡±.
