ON the night of March 5, 1770… “You lobster back, you fool. How dare you treat us like dirt, “cried an outraged colonist, as they violently threw a chunk of ice at a red-coated British soldier. “Cease all this nonsense, “shouted a lobster back as he reached for a loaded gun. “You can’t tell us what to do, “ replied the irate, contumacious colonists as they confidently threw their fists in the air. In a mere second, bullets were fired into the crowd, as the British soldiers viciously kept their fingers on the trigger. Eventually, five colonists dropped dead on the lonely, cold ground without the slightest good-bye. Colonists-true colonists apart of our colony. Who are we to trust the British when they so easily kill our men? Like a disease surmounting a person, the British are constantly clinging onto our colonies, and interfering into our world of development like a parasite on a dog. Who are the British to tell us what to do, and what not to do? (We are our own selves, and as individuals, we the colonists, are freethinkers.) Besides, the British are the ones who are enemies of peace but allies of war and their own leadership /government. They claim to “own” us, but amidst all the intolerable clashing of bullets, gore, and fighting, we, the colonists are one. We must look the supercilious British in the eye and show no signs of fear or any other emotion.
