The legalisation of cannabis for medical use Cannabis is an illegal home - grown plant, often used by people to relieve stress, but in fact it often has assisted in harmful side effects. Cannabis should not, at any costs, be allowed for medical purposes, to be used as a replacement method for relieving the pain of sick or dying patients. New South Wales Premier, Bob Carr’s decision to conduct the nation’s first trial of cannabis for medical use is ridiculous considering the negative effects this drug has come to cause. I strongly believe Cannabis shouldn’t become legalised for medical use.
