Our life is based on a piece of paper written many years ago. The freedoms that control and manipulate our lives all come down to The Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights was enabled to give people certain inalienable rights that the government could not touch. For instance, the second amendment gives any person the right to bear arms for security purposes that the government can not take away; however there have been many attempts to do so. I believe any person should be able to bear arms in there home for protection purposes, hunting and game, and simply because we have been given the right; although giving the right to the people of America also include those that could potentially use weapons for destructive purposes such as murder or robbery. More and more we hear on the radio or television of manslaughter by use of a firearm. Unfortunately, not everybody can be trusted to properly handle weapons in a safe manor; this is why many people try to pass bills to the second amendment which states, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed,” (u.s.
