At the tactical management decision level, MIS would support Student Sitters in financial, marketing, customer service and medium-term planning. The following basic functions would be implemented:

To record all financial activities from billing clients to paying the employees (students)
„X Marketing-
To set prices accordingly, promote and advertise Student Sitters¡¦ services
„X Human Resources-
To focus on student hiring, training and observations, and all people-centred activities within the business, such as client loyalty building
„X Research-
To identify trends, investigate and develop new services and job opportunities
The business will need to maintain information about its clients, namely physical and postal address, contact details in case of emergency, preferences including the regular sitter¡¦s name, and additional service requirements.
