There are absolutely no United States politicians that are completely trustworthy. Beginning with the very start of their attempts to run for office, campaigns are the worst of it all. Campaigning for a political office is like convincing your parents that they should pay for college because you promise to get good grades. The snakes go from town to town deliberately lying to people who back their statements mainly on the basis that they reside in the same political party as the person up for election. In my experience as a voter, albeit a short one, I have heard a lot of lies and promises made by candidates who say that they can do one thing, get into office and fail to follow through. It has happened before and if the future is anything like the past, it will happen again. The deceit does not only happen with candidates. Actual politicians who get elected into offices almost always turn out to be not trustworthy.
