What do I want to be when I grow up? ... Here I am a mommy and a grown up and he stumped me and I could not give him an answer. I have been asking myself this question for years and have been unable to come up with a definitive answer. ... At this time they addressed the children with the question of ‘what do you want to be when you grow up’. I asked my son after the meeting if he had thought about what he wanted to do. ... He then asked me when I was kid what did I want to be. I thought for a moment and answered him with I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.
I became plagued with this question for quite sometime. I finally came to the realization that I honestly can’t answer that question with just one answer. I am a mother, I am a wife, I am a friend, I am a boss, I am an employee, I am a culmination of so many experiences and roles and that I can’t just pick one.
