Every morning millions of Americans wake up to go to school or work. Unfortunately many of them do not eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and when people do not eat breakfast the results show up in their everyday tasks. Breakfast gives you an important opportunity to allow you to maximize your well being. Eating breakfast every morning is more important than most Americans think. Children who eat breakfast perform better in school. These kids score higher on standardized achievement tests and have fewer behavior problems in school. Also they are less likely to be depressed or hyperactive. Breakfast eaters also have better hand-eye coordination and verbal fluency. One study done by Harvard University, established a link between increased participation in the National School Breakfast Program and improved psychosocial behavior and academic performance in students.
