To begin my descriptive evaluation of the Hanson Place Church, I must start where it started for me … on the outside of this most impressive learning looking building. The reason I use the term learning is because when I first saw Hanson Place a few years ago, I thought it was a branch of the Brooklyn Public Library. ... (I asked the greeter when I left what did that date mean and she said that is was the date Hanson Place was established. ... I had walked into the church approximately 6:50 p. ... She said she was raised Catholic but when she came to New York, her cousins were Seventh-day Adventist and she visited this church with them one day and never left, even though they went back to their home church. ... Earl P. Cameron who is originally from Jamaica and has only been the senior pastor of Hanson Place for the last two years. ...
