The story of Johnny Tremain is set in Boston Harbor in the revolutionary times. Johnny is a teenage boy who is a silversmith’s apprentice. ... While living with Rab, Johnny goes and takes part in many historical revolutionary events. ... When Rab goes off to war, Johnny is devastated. After many months Johnny finds Rab dying in a hotel/hospital in Lexington. Johnny decides he will act as Rab did and not cry. This symbolizes the amazing change Johnny has gone through since the beginning of the book.
