Film Analysis
In Robert B. ... Wyatt Erp is played By Kurt
Russel in the movie Tombstone, Wyatt is a retired law officer who seeks fortune and
family out west, but his priorities are manipulated with the western atmosphere.
Tombstone, being a town of chaos and destruction brings out Wyatt’s respect for the law
and he and his brothers become law officers. ... Not only does he hold these qualities when dealing with other
characters in the film, but the audience develops these ideas when considering his
character as well and he became well respected as a character in history, not only in the
film. ... Even his
contradicting personality in the film portrays the foundations of our country, The
“equality” among men yet the condoning of slavery; The “freedom” of religion yet the
discrimination involved in both great awakenings.
