I have been racing mountain bikes for 2 years I have always enjoyed racing bikes. It just recently that I began to race at a state level. I have always wanted to get a full xtr bike a full xtr bike consists of xtr cranks, xtr wheelset, xtr front and rear derrailers and of course xtr shifters. This bike is about a $4000 dollar bike. Right now I have invested into a xtxtr level bike this bike retails at around $3000 dollars but it has been well worth it. When you race at the state level there are three sub levels beginner sport and expertpro as of right now I am racing in the sport class ironically every one of finishes have been 5th place. 5th place is a good place to be in due to the fact you almost always get some little piece of schwag or a some little price such as a co2 inflator. For those dumb people who don’t know s**t about bikes a co2 inflator is what you use in emergency situations to fix a flat on your bike the inflator is what you use to inflate the tire hence the word co2 INFLATEr.
