In today’s day and age controversy is a huge part of society. It is a big factor in the way our country is run. Everybody who is elected has a stance on something. It is what decides who will be elected and who will not. There are plenty of controversies to go around too, from gays in the military to the legalization of marijuana. Everyone has a stand on these whether it may be for or against. But one stands out among all the rest, abortion. Abortion is the killing of premature babies while they are in their mother’s womb. It is a choice that the mothers get to make for the child whether it likes it or not. This is the kind of controversy that gets presidents elected. The stands for abortion are either for or against, there is no middle. You cannot be neutral because there is only one choice; life or death, there is no limbo for an unborn child. The arguments for this are based on many things. They come from religion, life experience, crime, and even just weighing the pros and cons. Since I was born and raised a catholic I think that you should keep your baby. That baby inside of you has a right to live. Could you imagine if your mom had aborted you? You would have never had a chance to grow up. What if you never went to a school dance or never got to win homecoming queen.
