A. How does Fallen Angels Adress matters of race and class in America? how does the novel portray the effects of the way on race and class issues and tje effects pf race and class issues on the war? Why is it ironic that so many war protesters are college students? -Fallen Angels was set in a time when tensions within the race relations in the United States were at its zenith. Due to the increasing tensions of the African-American civil rights movement in the United States, the racial tensions quickly escaladed to war brigades. The book illustrates the racial tensions through the Vietnam war which affected the soldiers' lives tremendously through physical violence and mental pain.
