What s the problem with College Students in Taiwan
What is your general impression of college students in Taiwan nowadays? ... As an insider, I have to confess itˇ¦s true, in some cases. In my humble opinions, one of the most important reasons beyond might be the huge discrepancy between high school and undergraduate education, which can be analyzed from two major angles, the different advising systems and the studentsˇ¦ learning attitudes. The present-time advising system in college is different from that of high school; college advisers tend to give simple ˇ§suggestionsˇ¨ and spend little time with the advisees (students) while high school teachers usually give ˇ§ordersˇ¨ and accompany the school kids all day long, sometimes even after school.
