Have you ever wondered why the people of some European countries never turn around when you tap their shoulder after dark? I’m quite sure that nobody can give you a correct answer. The story has been picked over so many times and had embroidered in so many places, that nobody was quite sure of what the truth really was anymore. Every version of the tale however started in the same place: about two thousand years before, at a daybreak on a fine summer’s morning, where The Glofyer House had been still well kept and impressive, and a maid had entered the drawing room and the room was in complete darkness-as usual. The people have almost forgotten what daylight looked like, how the warm rays of light one shone upon them, bringing life as it weaved through narrow walkways, seeped through cracks, burst through doorways. Those were considered the old times. Now, all the people ever do is work in the darkness, with dim torches to show the way.
