Rabies

The dog had been chasing me for three weeks. ... I thought the dog might have rabies so I pulled out my ¡§shell¡¨ phone and called a rabies control group.
Rabies is an acute and deadly viral infection of the central nervous system. Rabies is caused by a virus that is in the saliva of infected animals causes rabies, and it is usually transmitted by bites from infected animals. Rabies is found in all of the United States, except Hawaii, and in many other countries around the world, including Canada and Mexico. As said before, rabies is a deadly virus. Each year around 1800 people get rabies, but only one person died in 1998. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that around the world more than 40,000 people die every year from rabies.
10 million people worldwide are treated after being exposed to animals that may have rabies.
