On Tuesday 9 January 2001 ‘The Daily Mail ‘,’The Sun’ and ‘The Daily Mirror’ all chose to spotlight their editorials on the judgement that granted James Bulger’s killers a life of anonymity .Yet, each newspaper took a different approach. The Daily Mail expressed their views in the editorial in a very bias view very much against the decision making some very good points on legal precedent and on the issues of the sufferings of the parents of James Bulger. The Daily Mail stated “And what about James’ parents? What special treatment have they received as the people hit hardest by this ‘uniquely notoriously’ crime whereas The Sun also raised the same points but emphasised more on the parents feeling than other issues such as legal precedent.
