September 3rd, 2003 -- A problem in the search engine where a lookup for "Tom" did not return records for "Tom2" has been fixed. August 29th, 2003 -- It has come to our attention that some members are not able to receive review alerts or other emails from fanfiction.net. We investigated the problem and found that majority of the cases are related to email accounts hosted by outblaze.com. Outblaze host many "free" email accounts for sites like myself.com, sailormoon.com, kittymail.com, and many others. Unfortunately, Outblze is blocking email from fanfiction.net without cause. Since it is not a problem with fanfiction.net, there is nothing we can do. Contact your email providers to file a complaint. Keep in mind that you get what you paid for with "free" email especially from irresponsible providers such as Outblaze. If you want free email that will actually work, yahoo is the best choice. To reduce clutter and confusion, we have removed "the" from most if not all category titles.
