In a time period in which children are asked to do so much they now have even more excuses not to do the things that they should be doing. We all say that we have better things to do than what our teachers ask us to take forty-five minutes out of hour horribly busy day to do the little things they ask us to do. We all think they pile up the homework to make us mad, but most teachers are very lenient and ask very little. The only things we are asked to do aren’t due yesterday, they are due in intervals of up to a week, yet we still complain that it is too much to do. Our busy schedule is full of things such as: Drivers Ed, going on dates, talking on the phone with our friends, and any other way we can find to waste this valuable education we have been given by the grace of God. Us even being in the United States and being school is a blessing in itself. Most of us won’t realize the truth in what we are doing in this school until we finally get out of it, and by that time it will already be to late to go back and change the way we have approached the effort we have given for the last twelve years.
