According to the statistics from the FBI, today’s female teenagers are fighting more, forming their own gangs, using weapons regularly, and robbing with greater frequency than at any time in recent American History (Graham 96). ... Homicide, assault, robbery, and burglary seem to be more prevalent toward the bottom of the social-class ladder, whereas embezzlement, income tax invasion, and other types of “white collar” crimes are more prevalent among middle- and upper-middle class people (Landis 154) I have learned many things from this article. ... The number of children living in a single parent home increased from less than 1 percent to 8 percent (Snyder 10). ... I’ve learned from reading this article that there is a lot of scary statistics that really makes me think about men, marriage, and children. ... If you are willing to be rational about love, you can learn from others’ experiences and perhaps find and maintain a true love even after the initial chemistry fades. ... In conclusion, I thought this was a very informative project and I learned a lot about family and juvenile delinquency through reading and researching these issues. ... In this project if I could do anything different I would have wished that I had broader topic selections besides all of the articles coming out of Annual Editions Family or Juvenile Delinquency.
