"What my generation believes about the sexes is quite different from what my parent's generation thougt." In my opinion this statement is totaly true, because today just the technological progress but also the status of the women had changed. My parent's generation thought, that women had only to cook, keep house and sew. There were only few “respectable” jobs that they "were able to do" according to men. For example teaching and looking after other’s people children. In the first and the second World War there was a great change for women. They were needed in offices and factories to fill the places of men at war. But after the war they " went back home" to do childcare and housekeeping like former. Generally speaking men was the master in his own house, because only he earned the money and the women had to all the things, which concern the housework.
