During my most recent visit to the Art institute, I had a fun time, and saw a lot of new things that I have never had the privilege to see before. When I was a young school lad, when we went to the art institute, it was so organized that you only saw certain things and you are basically restricted to only have of the building. When going this time I saw the whole building and was just astonished of what I have missed in the past. I truly enjoyed my time there and plan on going back another time, without any friends, because they ended up rushing me so that we could get to Wrigley quicker. When looking at the Photography exhibit it was interesting how these photographers were able to catch such things in perfect view. I will go into of which picture I found most intriguing and which one I found lest appealing. My favorite picture that I saw, was the picture taken by Carleton Watkins. The picture is called Mendocino River from the Rancherie, Mendocino Co., California. The reason I found this picture most appealing is the rich landscape that was involved it was truly just an astonishing picture. While my least favorite picture was a picture from Alfred Stieglitz, which happens to be just a picture of women, the reason I didn’t like this picture at all was because it reminded me of just a family picture, I didn’t see any art involved.
