Overpopulation is a minor problem compared to the extreme difficulties that humans have learned to overcome in the past. Many people nowadays predict that our world’s population will continually grow, reaching between 8 and 12 billion people by 2050 . ... But these individuals haven’t recognized many important facts that disagree with the concept of overpopulation. Many studies demonstrate that our world growth has decreased in the last few years and will probably continue to decrease. ... And even Birth control medication and birth restriction programs are being implemented around the world to limit the planet’s population growth. In the end, the world will not overpopulate because humans have a determination to survive. ... These resources fuel our cars, heat our homes and power our electronic world. ... Currently, oil makes the single largest contribution to world energy supply, at 40 percent, followed by coal at 26 percent and natural gas at about 24 percent . Like copper was, these resources are only currently in demand and will most definitely lower in importance as our modern world advances. ... The world will never run out of resources along as humans exist because we will just continue to adapt, evolve and engineer new solutions to meet our ever changing needs. ...
Without enough land mass too grow vegetation and raise cattle, our world would not be able to sustain enough food for everyone to survive. ... These possibilities could become a reality if everyone in the world decided to start living like Canadians! But other than that possibility, the world will never diminish of its land. Many experts are spending vast amounts of time and money addressing the issue of high density housing concerning overpopulation. ... These architects are not only creating housing to contain overpopulation but are inventing apartments of accommodations that people can live comfortably in. ... Even if the world began to drastically increase in population, humans would adapt their lifestyles around the conditions of the planet.
