The main elements for a learning team are: 1) decision-making, 2) concept of team conflict, 3) concept of change and need for training, and 4) the ability of each team member to add value. The charter explains when we will meet, how often, and how to solve conflict, among other details. Learning Team Elements and Charter Learning Teams, as defined by the University of Phoenix (UOP), "are small groups of three to six students drawn from within the larger cohort. (…) Learning Teams are an essential design element in the Universitys teaching and learning model through which students develop the ability to collaborate -- an ability expected of employees in information-age organizations and one of the Universitys primary learning goals." Several elements are important when working with teams, either at work or learning environment. These elements are: 1) consensus in decision-making, 2) concept of team conflict, 3) concept of change and need for training, and 4) the ability of each team member to add value. ... These elements were identified through the analysis of several articles that provide us with an insight into the teams. We also worked on the team charter. This learning team charter helped us to understand how our interactions within the group will be, how often they will be, and how we will be able to manage conflict and obtain solutions, etc. The main purpose of this paper is to find elements that will help us to become a successful team, as well as, create our charter that will provide the way to proceed. Method As a team, we decided to read each of the articles in workshop 2 related to teams.
