Immigration has been, and always will be, defining what kind of country Canada will be. It is easy to say that Immigration is one the most important and memorable things for Canada. The Immigration Boom started the huge wave of immigrants, and was the first foreshadowing of the multiculturalism of Canada today. Immigration also made Canada more mature as a nation, such as the periods before and after the World Wars when Canada was cautious of immigrants and was forced to act. Finally there was the improvement of the Immigration system that was the system to be used for many years to come.
