Throughout history, the definition of an aristocrat has been a person who has the tastes, opinions, and manners of the upper-class society. ... Forster, gives his own definition of “aristocracy.” He refers to the “aristocracy” as people not born of an upper-class society, but people born with an upper-class soul. The true “aristocracy” are the class of people who embody the finest qualities that a person can possess, rather than the upper-class status that a person can be born into. ... If a person can possess all of these qualities in their character, than they can be the true “aristocracy” of the people.
