SHort story

During the summer I didn’t do much but sit home and play baseball. I really didn’t hang out or do anything, and I didn’t even have a girlfriend so most of my time wasn’t taken up. I really wanted someone to talk to, and kiss while I did nothing but you cant always get what you want. Anyways my mother would ask me to run errands for her and occasionally I went to the library. Little did I realize that this trip to the library was going to be different. Something so little was going to change my whole life around. I stepped inside and walked upstairs to the adult section. Not many people are there and the ones that are, play chess. I always try to be extra quite when I go near them. Anyways on that day I walked by a girl I knew from school named Lita. I didn’t know who she really was but I knew her enough to say “hi”. As soon as I saw her I got this crazy feeling inside of me as she gave me a smile. I really wanted to talk to her and get to know her because there was something about her. Everything seemed to be perfect about her. Hair, smile, lips, body, personality. So being the shy guy that I am, I didn’t go up to her since I didn’t know if she was interested. Maybe she would just like me as a friend I guess? The summer came to an end and school started. This year was going to be my senior year and I had a feeling of power and control in the school. I knew where to go, what to do and I just wanted to start talking with my friends again. My classes were pretty good and I kept bugging out that soon I was about to go to college. So one day as I walked through the hallway I saw her. It was Lita. When we walked by each other she said “Hey” “Hey”, I said back with a little lift of my head as to show that I recognized her and it was just something that the guys in the school do as a way of saying, “hey”. This girl was great. By now I really liked her. Just the fact that she said “hey” to me really got to me.
