What do people marry for? ...
A lot of the book is about marriage: about marrying for true love, or false love, or money, or safety, or rank or because other people expect it. It is also about how people make marriages and live together in families, and how people should and should not behave to each other.
First of all, let us take a look at those people who marry for true love, which might be the ideal marriage to most of the people, especially females in the time Jane Austen lived as well as our contemporary society. ... However, all those above are not reason enough to be the real barriers in the way to their marriage because this group of people hold a strong point of view, that is, if tow persons love each other truly and deeply, they should get married; meanwhile, marriage is so holy and special that only true love can be its strong foundation. ... The funny thing is, the writer herself, did not get marry, in other words, we can say that in her books she made her own world, which was not exactly the world around her.
