Eric Schlosser try’s to convince us as readers that that the fast food nation presented in the book have taken an epic turn for the worst. Many people think that the Fast Food industry and expansionism are healthy for our nation. I believe that Schlosser successfully disproves these ideas and the general American way of thinking and doing things. He uses many examples and opinions within the book as well as facts obtained from his own research of the way fast food organizations work in today’s society. I believe that Schlosser's ideas are very liberal in many ways but he notes that there are other possibilities for solutions to the current fast food industry. He notices that the big giant corporations can be altered by the individual consumer because customer satisfaction is the key to selling the product. So we can in-fact control what the fast food industry produces and how well is the quality and cleanliness of the food being produced. He cries out to us in the book saying we have the potential to change yet we seem to be blinded by the simple untruth that everything is just fine when things are not as great as we would like it to be.
