Interview with Vietnam Veteran
The Veterans name that i interviewed was Mr. ... I visited him at his house, and I asked him many questions about Vietnam.
He said that he signed up for the service for 4 years, Vietnam for 1, and the Army for 3. They flew him and many other young men to Vietnam. ... He said that Vietnam was a culture shock. ... He said that the movie "Platoon" was very accurate to Vietnam. ... He said all the battles in Vietnam were won by the United States, but the Vietnamese were very persistant, and never backed down. ... I then asked him how he felt about Jane Fonda, he had nothing good to say about her, he belives that she could have used her fame and popular influence to help the soldiers in Vietnam. ... Bowen said that he thinks this project was great because you can see Vietnam first hand, on a more personal level, than threw a history book.
