In this Essay I am going to try to illustrate the concept of Moral Panic as a process by which, social or political change is made due to the influence of the media. Kenneth Thompson in his book ‘Moral Panics’ largely influences my ideas. I am going also going to look at different Moral panics from the past and present in order to illustrate my point of view that the concept is still valid.
