1930's brief history

Historical events along with the usual powerful influences of parents, social, economic conditions of the family, religion, education, spouse, children, and job can change a person’s life. Those living in the 1918’s were impacted by World War I, and in the 1940’s by World War II. Most Americans living in the 1930’s were influenced by the Great Depression; even many of us who were born too late to remember it were impacted. The depression was a big surprise for most Americans, so much so that people were jumping out of buildings. There are many theories about what caused the depression but one is that the Federal Reserve Board raised interest rates causing everything to collapse.
