On my first day of eleventh grade, I bought my first camera; that was the day that I became a new person. ... I saw everything from a totally new perspective: my camera’s lens. I was able to capture a brief moment in history, a blink of the eye, all with a click of the shutter. Through each click of the shutter, each image created, I can see people’s souls as I develop the images in the darkroom. With each image that I develop, I learn more about myself: each photograph that my camera allows me to take illustrates a different glimpse or aspect of my life.
