First and foremost, religion involves faith, the faith of believing in existence of God and his manifestations. Religion demands acceptance without questioning certain truths, most importantly the belief of God's existence. In fact, to the believers, the need for proof of such existence is unnecessary. Many religions expect a more or less specific belief that applies to that religion only. Science on the other hand absolutely requires doubt and room for questioning. This is vital in order to broaden the horizons of science and for humans become better thinkers and practical workers. A true scientist must always question the status quo, seek new evidence, and seek for new and better interpretation of that evidence.
