The Jacksonian Era was a time of social and political reform of the United States. Andrew Jackson and his fellow Jacksonian Democrats founded a new breed of Democracy to give more voice to the people while maintaining their popularity. The Jacksonian democrats portrayed themselves as leaders of the common people and ruled through a powerful executive branch. ...
