The Phantom of the Opera
The story occurred in Paris 1880 at the Opera House, a beautiful and famous French building. The tale begins with a dancer who claimed that the Phantom appeared to her. One of the dancers called Meg Giry said that he was the Opera Ghost. The rumor was getting hotter and the girls didn’t stop talking about the Phantom. ... When Meg heard that, she said her mother told her, the phantom didn’t like people talking about him, and those who opposed to his will, shall pay. ...
The two new directors of the Opera house, Monsieur Armand and Monsieur Firmin, received the news and a letter from the alleged Opera ghost. When they read the message they didn’t understand why the phantom wanted 20,000 francs, flowers and the box 5 free for him. That same night the two directors didn’t know what to do about the opera, because the singer, La Carlotta, was ill and could not sing that night, then one of then, Monsieur Firmin, decided to invite Christine Daaé, who was a young singer to sing Faust, representing Margarita. ... In the afternoon, they received another letter from the opera ghost, saying that, La Carlotta should not sing that night, but Christine should. They did not like the “ joke“ and decided to go after Madame Giry because she knew the Phantom. ... It was terrible for the Paris Opera House, one death, many wounded and La Carlotta never sang again. ... Two days before the Opera House opens again he received another letter from Christine, saying that he should meet her at the top of the Opera House, on the tenth floor.
