Over the past few months three political parties have been battling over the title for the premier of Ontario, Canada. Representing the progressive conservatives is Ernie Eves, and representing the liberals is Dalton McGuinty, and lastly representing the NDP is Howard Hampton. All three politicians have three similar; but yet different opinions of what to do about auto insurance rates in Ontario. Through out the political campaign Ernie Eves has promised many things, but lowering auto insurance for Ontarians is one major change that he has promised the citizens. What Mr.Eves plans to do is whatever it takes to keep auto insurance affordable for the people of Ontario, because he knows that it is essential for people to have affordable transportation when they need it there. Eves has stated that he is willing to cap, freeze or lower rates to keep insurance rates low in order for Ontario citizens to be happy, and have the ability to drive at an affordable rate.(1) Dalton McGuinty is another politician in the running for the title of Premier of Ontario in the upcoming October 2, 2003 election.
